![]() ![]() There is no official GameFAQs app, and we do not support nor have any contact with the makers of these unofficial apps. Continued use of these apps may cause your IP to be blocked indefinitely. This triggers our anti-spambot measures, which are designed to stop automated systems from flooding the site with traffic. Some unofficial phone apps appear to be using GameFAQs as a back-end, but they do not behave like a real web browser does.Using GameFAQs regularly with these browsers can cause temporary and even permanent IP blocks due to these additional requests. If you are using Maxthon or Brave as a browser, or have installed the Ghostery add-on, you should know that these programs send extra traffic to our servers for every page on the site that you browse. The most common causes of this issue are: ![]() If you get lucky and avoid the wind but get hit by the flames late enough with enough hp, you can actually just stay down until she finishes the AOE.Your IP address has been temporarily blocked due to a large number of HTTP requests. Pray that your cat/teammates heal you and you get a chance to get up safely and superman dive. If you get hit by the first wind blast and flames, you're basically throwing prayers at that point lol. She'll do the wind blast again but if you're in a safe spot and have a good amount of hp then you can literally ignore it.Īlternatively you can superman dive twice which requires timing, temporal mantle or the good ol' run the hell away until you're out of the affected area (kinda hard but doable). So to recap: Negate/block the first wind blast -> Find a safe spot with no flames -> Proceed outhealing the heat. I feel like the flame spots are more concentrated near the center.*** ![]() Also, don't be near her when she does the AOE. FIND A SAFE SPOT WHERE THERE ARE NO FLAME SPOTS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE and then you can safely deal with the overheat. They'll light up fast so you you have to be quick. This is your first and foremost priority: Look for them as soon as she lands the first wind AOE and avoid these spots. ***The flame spots are the main damage dealers of this move. If you have the mantle on, the overheat is pretty much a joke. The best possible counter to this is the Fire Mantle. The skill Speed Eating is very helpful when you're using the potion method. Good ol' mega potion should keep you alive. Astera jerky will also work but beware it'll heal only the red part, it won't heal you past that. Max potion will heal everything so I recommend you use this first if you have previous damage since the heat builds up quickly. *The overheat can be scary but don't be overwhelmed. ![]() The skill Wind resist(lvl5), Kushala's armor set skill or Rocksteady mantle do wonders because they negate it completely. If you can block it do so and immediately unsheath because more than likely, there will be flame spots near you. * The wind blast does NOT damage you, it'll just stagger you for a while. The third part is that it creates flame spots Thanks, I use pretty much all melee weapons except horn normally, just thought gunlance would be decent because it works great for basically everything else in the game. The bottom line though is that your shield can't get you through everything, you'll have to put it down and dodge that specific attack like the rest of us. I believe the first flash pod will technically blind her, but she can't be knocked out of the air and she doesn't need to see you to nuke you. Originally posted by lexilogo:Don't ever use Flash Pods on Lunastra, it makes her trigger her Supernova. It's also worth noting that Astera Jerky restores all of your recoverable health (the red/yellow bit), and because the supernova does leave a big chunk of that Jerky can sometimes be a better alternative than Mega Potions at quickly recovering from a supernova or outlasting one. Invincibility frames from the dive will prevent the massive DoT effect. When she triggers the crazy AoE supernova attack, either run far, far away, or superman dive away from her and keep chaining superman dives until she stops. If you're not already doing so, have a Cool Drink on at all times because part of the damage is prevented by that, from my understanding. Don't ever use Flash Pods on Lunastra, it makes her trigger her Supernova. ![]()
